In the Men's Team, a huge shoutout to Rhys Quirk, Ranko Janic, Sam Lovett, Mathew Chettleburgh, Jamie Winnel, and Nelson Hinsley for their outstanding performances. They finished 1st in their division with an impressive team average of 198! 🙌
Not to be outdone, the Women's Team consisting of Breeah Martin, Kelly Lock, Tara Nankervis, Kylie Anstis, Trinity Byatt, Imogen Llewelyn, and Lea Moore showcased their skills and finished 3rd in their division, just 1 point behind 2nd place. Their team average of 174 was truly remarkable! 👏
This stellar performance secured the Overall Division title by 1.5 points, defeating the powerhouse Bendigo team. 🏆
A special mention goes to Breeah Martin, who achieved a top 10 ranking in women's averages with an impressive score of 183.8 out of 66 women. And congratulations to Nelson Hinsley for finishing 2nd in the men's division averages, earning him a spot in the All-Star team with an exceptional average of 212.7 and winning 14 out of 17 games played! 🌟
The battle for the overall title of the 2024 Country Cup came down to the last game, and our Men's Team dug deep, securing a phenomenal 7-0 victory against the Home team, Latrobe Valley.
We owe this incredible success to the guidance and support of Sid Allen and Paul Delany, who have worked tirelessly with the team this past year. Their dedication and expertise have produced remarkable results, including being the 2023 Emerson Shield Men's Champions and now the 2024 Country Cup Men's and Overall Team Champions! 🏆
